It’s the first True Stories Told Live of 2019, and it’s coming to you Tuesday, January 22 at The Garrison (Dundas St West @ Ossington Avenue).

Never been to TSTL? The concept is simple: It’s a bunch of people in a back room in West Toronto listening to other people telling true stories. Each storyteller is given the task of telling their personal story (without notes) in less than ten minutes, and every story must be TRUE.

This edition’s storytellers include Christel Bartelse, Rahil Shaikh, Elaine Gold, Collette Mick and Luke Jackson.

We haven’t told you the best part: IT’S FREE. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and stories start at 7:30 p.m. (latecomers will be admitted very quietly). The show will finish around 10:00 p.m. Get all the info you need on the Facebook event page.
