Venus Fest, Toronto’s only music festival and concert series that celebrates feminism in the arts, is returning for its second year this weekend!

The festival was created in response to a long-standing need in the music industry to foster a new kind of space for artists and community alike. By ensuring greater awareness around who has access and representation in the arts, Venus Fest is helping to shift the industry challenges that have dominated traditional festivals and organizational structures.

With a strong focus on feminist values, Venus Fest also promises to be a safe space for attendees. All identities are welcome in this atmosphere of inclusivity, love and celebration! Don’t miss a moment of this special experience: three Toronto nights filled with incredible music, art, and community.

Featured artists this year include Zola Jesus, Bully, Elle Barbara’s Black Space, Maylee Todd, a l l i e, Oshun, Vallens, Loom, Ora Cogan and many more. Expect art installations, visuals and even a postcard table! (Click here for the full lineup.)

Venus Fest takes place Thursday, September 20 to Sunday, September 23. Click here for tickets and info.
