Are you in for a night of stimulating conversation and socializing? The WOS Salon is a celebration of inspiring and dynamic women in the Canadian Film & Television industry. On Monday May 4th, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Windup Bird Café (382 College St), guests are invited to mingle with industry professionals and enjoy food and drink.

Co-founded by Farah Merani, Lauren MacKinlay, Ciara Murphy and Natalie Lisinska in January 2014, Women on Screen came together to represent women in film and television and challenge the status quo. Women on Screen aims to shed light on stories of female-driven content and create a more current discourse and better understanding of gender in film and television.

This week’s guest speaker is Catherine Lutes, Leo award winning cinematographer with over ten years of experience in film, commercials, and television. Lutes will share her unique background and knowledge about the industry. Afterwards, guests can take part in a brief question & answer period.

This event takes place at Windup Bird Café (382 College St), Monday May 4th, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Capacity is limited and entry is first come, first served!
