If you find yourself in Parkdale this weekend, head to the laneway that runs north behind 1486 Queen St. W (between Lansdowne Avenue and MacDonell Avenue). A collective of female artists will be painting 2,000 square feet of murals, transforming the space into an outdoor art gallery!

Reflecting on intersectional feminism, this collaborative work will touch on the diverse experiences that we each bring to the table. And, as a closing celebration, you can meet the artists on Sunday, July 16 3:00-7:00 p.m.

StreetARToronto (StART) is supporting this project in partnership with the Toronto Police Service 11 Division. StART is a pro-active program that develops, supports, promotes and increases awareness of street art and its unique role in adding beauty and character to neighbourhoods across Toronto.
