To mark the 10th anniversary of Art Matters, musician, good time guy and all-round party master Andrew W.K. will deliver a motivational speech to Concordia’s fine arts students on Friday, March 4, and will follow up with a special DJ set at the Art Matters opening party later on that night.

During the speech, Andrew W.K. will likely offer tips on how to write a CV when the bulk of your experience consists of Partying Hard, and how to Party ‘til You Puke and still come off well in an early morning interview.

The opening party will feature live acts by Pat Jordache, Cousins, Wilcox & Promise, Chevalier Avant Garde, Grimes and Doldrums in addition to the Andrew W.K. DJ set.

Art Matters, Concordia’s student-run art festival, runs from March 1-19 and will feature a variety of multi-disciplinary art works at various local galleries and artist-run centers.
