Happy Pride! We’ve rounded up the hottest parties and must-attend events happening across Toronto to help you plan your week.

June 20th-24th Alternative Pride Toronto @ various locations. The first annual Alternative Pride Toronto is an independent, non-corporate, artist-led music and art festival celebrating queer artists and spaces. Taking place over four days, it presents unique and diverse events including villa take-overs, outdoor urban activations, DIY gallery parties, and grimey underground after-hours, with partial proceeds going to Rainbow Railroad. June 21st-23rd Clean, Sober, Proud @ Norman Jewison Park, 13 Isabella St. The Clean, Sober, and Proud space is a dedicated drug and alcohol-free zone for everyone to enjoy, featuring all types of great entertainment in a laid-back, family friendly environment. Take in live performances, games, fun, and confidential recovery meetings all weekend long. Full lineup here.

June 22nd-23rd Family Pride @ Church Street Public School, 83 Alexander St. Celebrate the strength and uniqueness of LGBTQ2+ families and children at Family Pride! This year, you will discover programming for children and their families that is creative and engaging, including sports, crafts, face painting, story-time, and extra-special performances. THURSDAY

5 pm Starry Night @ Barbara Hall Park, 519 Church St. Dance under the stars and party for a cause, squirrel friends – all proceeds from this party go directly to The 519! From the mainstage of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11, catch Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, and A’keria Chanel Davenport live alongside other local drag talent. Until midnight. 7 pm 9th Annual 10X10 Exhibition & Book Launch @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. Now in its ninth year, 10X10 has become a staple in visual art programming during Toronto’s Pride celebrations. To date, it has featured 90 LGBTQ Canadian photographers who have collectively exhibited 800 portraits of LGBTQ Canadians in the arts. Read more about this year’s photographers here. Until 11 pm. 9 pm A Club Called Rhonda: A Deeper Love @ The Drake Hotel, 1150 Queen St. W. Los Angeles’s pansexual party palace returns to Toronto for a #TOP2BOTTOM total towering takeover of the Drake Hotel. From the raucous carousing of the open-air rooftop and the titillating techno of the ground-floor discotheque to the bountiful body music of the boisterous basement and the effervescent Absolut Unicorns galloping about, you’ll be making your wide-eyed way through a wigged-out wonderland with hundreds of the most beautiful creatures in Toronto. 4 AM LAST CALL. $40.46 advance tickets available online.

9 pm Steers & Queers: Night of 1,000 Dollys @ The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W. Join Reverend Fluffy Souffle in a night of worship of our personal (gay)lord and saviour, Dolly Parton. 5 pm One World: Afro House Edition @ Barbara Hall Park, 519 Church St. Take it back to the birthplace of humankind on the dance floor! Featuring special guest DJs from Berlin, the masterminds behind the Afro House sensation rise, Hyenah and Floyd Lavine + Toronto legend Deko-ze and RuPaul’s Drag Race star Naomi Smalls. 6 pm Trans March @ Intersection of Church and Hayden St. Toronto’s Trans March is officially one of the largest, most exciting Pride events in the world – not only for the trans and non-binary folks, friends, and allies who rally and march together in solidarity, but also for anyone who witnesses this landmark event. Trans women of colour and people with different abilities are encouraged to lead the march.

8 pm Night at the Aqueerium @ Ripley’s Aquarium, 288 Bremner Blvd. Dive into all the colours of the rainbow and dance the night away with music by DJ Cozmic Cat and Lucie Tic, while enjoying live entertainment by the Spice Queens, refreshments, and plenty of photo ops! $50 advance tickets available online.

8 pm Iconic! Pride Extravaganza @ The Rec Room, 255 Bremner Blvd. Drag show + dance party featuring international sensation DJ Kitty Glitter, pornstar Skyy Knox, RuPaul’s Drag Race S5 and ASS2 drag superstar Roxxxy Andrews, and local drag performers Sofonda Jonathan Cruz, Ivory Towers, Helena Poi Son, Tay BoBo, Alexandher Brandy, Berlin, and Quanah Style. $20 advance tickets available online.

9 pm Yes Yes Y’all Block Party @ Bud Light Wellesley Stage, 15 Wellesley St. Yes Yes Y’all is hitting the streets this Pride for the ultimate block party! Carrying you into the night are Venux X (NYC), Karim Olen Ash, Tamika, Cheffy, Sydanie, and the YYY crew. Until 2 am.

9 pm Fit Primpin’ @ Lithuanian Banquet Hall, 1573 Bloor St. W. Fit meets Big Primpin’ for this annual Pride mash-up! Featuring DJs Blackcat, Craig Dominic, Kris Steeves, Phillippe, and Vaughan playing everything from hip-hop to house in the main room + cosmic love under the rafters with DJs Jaime Sin and Kevin Ritchie upstairs. The star of this year’s party is L.A. go-go wild child, MC, and twerk queen, Tokeyo. Limited $30 tickets available at the door.

9 pm Bad Habits Social: Imagine Pride @ The Great Hall, 1087 Queen St. W. It’s Pride and Bad Habits Social is ready to spread the love and celebrate! 9:30 pm Rude xx Maricón: Toronto Pride Edition @ Northern Contemporary, 1605 Queen St. W. The Rude Collective is partnering with Maricón (NYC) to bring you an event that features local and international artists, DJs, and performers who keep the underground queer scene fun, inclusive, and popping. Featuring Joey Labeija (NYC), Joselo Girona Montalvo (NYC), Myst Milano (Toronto), Nino Brown (Toronto), Chippy Nonstop (Toronto), and Blip†or (Toronto) + hosts Max Mohenu and Demiigoddesss. $25-30 in advance, $30 at the door.

10 pm Hey Girl Hey @ The Garrison, 1197 Dundas St. W. Hey Girl Hey is turning three, and they’re celebrating by throwing their biggest party ever! Featuring DJ Orange Pekoe playing the best hip-hop and R&B by female and non-binary artists + multiple drag floor shows with Beardoncé, Bonbon Bontemps, Merrie Cherry, and Rify Royalty. 4 AM LAST CALL. $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

1 pm Dyke March @ Intersection of Church and Hayden St. A political demonstration of critical mass, welcoming all self-identified dykes to create political and visible space, and to celebrate the power, strength, diversity and passion of dyke experiences and identities.

1 pm Lipstick Jungle @ Barbara Hall Park, 519 Church St. Lipstick Jungle is turning Barbara Hall Park into a lush party oasis! Swing into action with Miss Monique spinning world-class techno and trance, Brazilian powerhouse DJ Ana Flor, Morabito bringing legendary NYC to the dance floor; and Sandy Duperval taking control of the decks and the mic. Until midnight. Free admission (donations for The 519 are welcome and appreciated).

5 pm Lavendar @ Pride Stage, Church & Wood St. Lavendar (the only monthly party on Church for LGBTQ2SIA+ women, trans, and nonbinary people) is teaming up with Yohomo and Pride Toronto for an evening of fun! DJ Recklezz on the decks until 8 pm.

6 pm Dirty Disco @ OLG Central Stage, 508 Church St. Celebrating their 20 year anniversary, Dirty Disco bridges the gap between old and new school and continues to fulfill founder Don Berns’ vision: Destroying racial and sexual orientation boundaries while creating one nation under one house groove. This year’s lineup: Mark Falco, DJ Nigel B, Chiclet, Ticky Ty, Jerome Robins, Robb G, Deko-ze, and JELO. Until 2 am.

9 pm Cherry Bomb Pride: Solid Gold @ Mod Club Theatre, 722 College St. Dance, sweat, and celebrate as Toronto’s biggest, boldest, and most spectacular party for queer women and friends glams it up for Pride 2019! Residents Cozmic Cat and Denise blend hot, high-voltage sets of house, bass, electro, indie, and other dance floor burners on the main floor with special guest DJ Jess (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), while DJ Recklezz spins a tight, all-night set of RnB, hip-hop, and dancehall upstairs. $25 advance tickets available at Glad Day Bookshop and online, more at the door.

10 pm Business Woman’s Special: Pride Edition @ ROUND Venue, 152-A Augusta Ave. Business Woman’s Special celebrates Pride! DJs Aural and Sophie Jones giving you life on the dance floor + performances by Miss Moço and Allysin Chaynes. $15 at the door.

11:30 pm Electric Circus @ The Garrison, 1197 Dundas St. W. DJs Pammm and Vanessa play your favourite ’90s house and dance music all night long. 4 AM LAST CALL. $5 before 2 am, $10 after, with proceeds to benefit Egale Canada Human Rights Trust.

12 pm Blockorama @ Bud Light Wellesley Stage, 15 Wellesley St. Curated by Blackness Yes!, a committee of artists and activists from Toronto’s Black Queer and Trans communities, Blockorama puts the spotlight on local and international black performers. This year’s headliners are the Queen of Bounce and Beyoncé collaborator Big Freedia and Grammy award winning R&B legend Miss Mýa! Local DJs Blackcat, Charmed Monroe, Nik red, Craig Dominic, Carma, and more will be joined by Toronto’s best drag, ballroom, and musical performers to keep the good vibes flowing. Until 2 am.

1 pm Big Gay Party: A Daytime Pride Party @ The Shameful Tiki Room, 1378 Queen St. W. A daytime Pride party in the west end to showcase queer talent in our city! Featuring performances by Allysin Chaynes, Babia Majora, Champagna Enemea, Fantasia Royale, Flare, and Katinka Kature; Pride cocktail specials; food by Sausage Party TO and Revel Food; and music by DJs Lukus and Johnny B. Goode. Until 8 pm.

1 pm Treehouse Party @ CNE Bandshell (Exhibition Place), 210 Princes’ Blvd. Treehouse Party celebrates Pride at a massive new location with a world-class lineup of talent, including legendary DJ Danny Tenaglia; The Black Madonna spinning heavenly beats and top-notch techno, disco, and house tracks; Isaac Escalante with his house beats and sexy tech vibes; and hometown hero Addy playing some classic underground Toronto flavour. 1 pm Disco Disco @ Barbara Hall Park, 519 Church St. It’s time to cure your Love Hangover this Pride season. The day kicks off with local disco boys Kris Steeves (Fit), Phillippe (Tapette), and Diego Armand (New Ho Queen), followed by NYC’s neo-Afro psychedelic kings The Illustrious Blacks, NYC DJ duo The Carry Nation, and Horse Meat Disco closing out Disco Disco with a bang. 2 pm Pride Parade @ Intersection of Bloor and Church Streets. Stand loud and proud with more than 200 groups marching in Toronto’s Pride Parade, one of the largest in North America. Bursting with performances, floats, and thousands of marchers, join Pride Toronto as they celebrate and remember the community’s journey.

8 pm New Ho Pride @ Fido South Stage, Church & Gould Streets. As the sun sets on the final evening of Pride weekend, New Ho Queen will be closing out the Fido South Stage in celebration of Queer Asian Pride! With the top three Queens from season two of RuPaul’s Drag Race Thailand, this is not to be missed! Full lineup here. Until 11 pm.
