It’s unlikely that Lewis Carroll ever saw this coming. His collection of children’s stories about a little girl discovering the impassible (because nothing’s impossible) has taken the world by storm over and over again since the Victorian era.
The infinite possibilities (passibilies?) of imagination and absurdities that this story embodies, offer the perfect opportunity for fashion designers to emancipate their inner mad hatters. Needless to say, the Alice in Wonderland bandwagon is a crowded one. Everyone from Stella McCartney to Urban Outfitters to Avril Lavigne hopped on with an inspired collection. read more...

Red lipstick is an icon. It is also the calling card of Hollywood bombshells and Vintage Vixens both past and present. During the Fall 09 runway shows, red lipstick appeared not only on the mouths of countless models but also adorned their necks and handbags. Designers such as Dolce and Gabbana and Betsey Johnson revived the icon of red lipstick and incorporated it into both their jewellery and handbag designs. Most notably, Dolce and Gabbana’s whimsical lipstick necklace made of gold chains and tiny tubes of red lipstick dilated thousands of pupils and set vintage hearts aflutter. read more...
