YOU THERE! Do you like to dance? Boogey? Get down? Shake your groove thang? (Is disco playing in your head yet?) (Sorry not sorry!) Well you’re in luck because this week in Toronto there are three reaaaaaally great DJ shows that are sure to dance the Canned Heat out of your heels tonight, bay-bay (HAD TO).

Wednesday: Ryan Hemsworth at Wrongbar

Halifax producer Ryan Hemsworth has been receiving a lot of buzz lately, and for good reason. This young DJ is not only super talented, but also super nice and humble and all that good stuff. Plus, his DJ shows are a ton of fun. He remixes everyone from Grimes to Craig David (!!!), plus makes his own super catchy, intricate, and surprising songs. Catch him this Wednesday at Wrongbar (1279 Queen St. W.) with Daedelus, Salva, and Samo Sound Boy. $15.

Thursday: Major Lazer at Sound Academy

We’ve seen a lot of half this insane dance hall duo was here recently (WE LOVE YOU, DIPLO), but it’s been a while since Major Lazer came here together. Everyone says their shows are nothing short of amazing and crazy and sweaty and wild, so probs best to tie your hair up, wear light clothing, and drink lots of water beforehand. Get Free to get in the mood. They’re hitting up the Sound Academy (11 Polson St.) with Keys N Crates and Gent & Jawns. $31.50.

Friday: Shlohmo at Blck Box

It’s no secret that we love Mansion events, so you can bet our excitement was high when we heard about Foundry, the party throwers’ new month-long dance series that blogTO said will change Toronto’s electronic scene. It all kicks off this Friday at the Blck Box (1087 Queen St. W.) with Shlohmo, a real cool fella who makes awesome remixes like this one. $20.

See you there! Like, at all three.
