We can think of nowhere more apropos to the Yuletide season then the Distillery District, which is why we can’t wait to stumble across the cobblestones at Toronto’s Christmas Market. Inspired by European markets of yore, there will be hundreds of gifts, beer gardens to catch up over a frothy pint, a giant Christmas tree, a reindeer zoo, roaming elves, carolers, and, of course, the big guy (…Santa, not Rob Ford.) The Market opens on December 3rd and runs every day, from 12 pm-8 pm, until December 12th. http://www.torontochristmasmarket.com/
