Growing a baby? Don’t do it alone! Pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period can be a source of great joy, but it’s also exhausting and overwhelming. If you are pregnant, are planning on conceiving, or have recently given birth, register now for the day-long 4 Trimesters: Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum Conference.

Depending on what stage you’re at, you can select courses along one of five options: trimester 1, 2, 3, 4, or swing streams. Workshops span topics like Coping Strategies for Labour, Creating a Postpartum Mood Support Plan, Diastasis and the Postpartum Body and Pleasure After Kids.

In addition, there’ll be a healthy lunch from BioRaw, opportunities to meet other local parents, and a panel discussion on Raising Socially Conscious Kids. “We created this day to help you during this particular time in your life to feel a little more prepared, a little less lonely, and that you have a better idea of where to go for help if and when you need it,” says 4 Trimesters founder Jae Steele.

The conference takes place on Saturday, October 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at The Centre for Social Innovation Annex (720 Bathurst). Register here
