Twenty years after J.K. Rowling first introduced us to a young wizard and his friends in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the Harry Potter brand remains a cultural phenomenon.

This Saturday, February 10th, from 1 to 8 p.m., the Estonian House (958 Broadview Ave.) will be transformed into a magical wizard world to celebrate all things Harry Potter. Guests will be knighted with the sword of Gryffindor upon entry and then let loose to explore the many activities, including a market of vendors selling clothing, books, collectibles and more; craft bar (paper wands, badges, house crest, etc.); Hogwarts photobooth; potion-making station; magic show; tarot readers; and a costume parade with prizes for best dressed. Harry Potter-themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including Butterbeer, will also be available.

Tickets for 20 Years of Harry Potter Magic are $12 and free for children five and under. Stick around afterwards for a Harry Potter cosplay party (19+) beginning at 9 p.m.
