When someone says “summertime food,” what do you think of?

A burger and a really cold beer.

Favourite seasonal ingredients?

Wild mushrooms

Can you share with us one of your kitchen rules?

Label f%#in’ everything!

Favourite summertime drink?

Definitely a milkshake! And if it has booze in it, it’s a bonus!

Current life motto:

If something is worth doing, then it’s worth overdoing!

What’s on your summer bucket list?

Get through the Front Street Food Festival in one piece! Lol.

What is the craziest/most interesting trek you’ve ever taken for either A) a great meal or B) a particular ingredient?

I did a five day climb to Machu Picchu in Peru to experience cooking at 15,000 feet in the Andes and to eat the best Ceviche in the world.

And to that, we can only say one thing: HOLY $#*!. Head to Johnny’s booth at #FrontStreetFoods and enjoy a juicy burger after work or before you head to a Jay’s game.
