The City’s Favourite Christmas Tree Arrives at the Distillery District

Tomorrow (Wednesday, November 4) Forests Ontario is making a special delivery to The Distillery Historic District. That’s right – it’s that time of year again. The Toronto Christmas Market is returning for its sixth year!

The delivery of the 52-foot white spruce tree marks the beginning of setup for world-renowned Toronto Christmas Market, which takes place from November 20 to December 20. The tree, which stands at the centre of all activities and is the landmark of the festival, will be hoisted up and decorated with more than 18,000 lights and ornaments.
