7 pm Laid Bare Presents: Something, Romanticised @ Forgetus Collective, 163 Sterling Rd., Unit 29. “Something, Romanticized brings together the work of Matthew Tammaro and Agnes Thor, two artists who have never met yet are connected by the ethereal qualities of their photography. At times nostalgic and uncertain, many of these images lack or obscure the sense of a specific environment or identity. This exhibition uses portraiture, still life and landscape to explore sensuality, finding beauty and vulnerability in the natural environment. People become objectified within their environment and objects are personified within the setting.” Until midnight.
