On July 30, mark three decades of Honey Jam with an all-out celebration of sisterhood, artistry, and legacy. This milestone concert at Massey Hall will mark 30 years of Canada’s first and longest-running female artist development program.

Honey Jam’s annual concert has become a beloved summer staple, and this year will be no exception. With a theme of “Inspirations”, audiences can look forward to dynamic performances from Honey Jam alumni paying tribute to the artists who have influenced their music.

The lineup of performers features 18 Canadian artists across 13 genres: Annabel Oreste, Blue Will, Charmie, Chatta, Christina Smith, Cinzia, Feura, Fridaee, Haliey Smith, Jaclyn Kenyon, Joy Lapps, Leah Holtom, Rachelle Show, Rebecca Sichon, Jelly Too Fly, Lola Bunz, and Villah, plus DJ MelBoogie.

“Our 30th anniversary is more than a milestone – it’s a celebration of all the artists, mentors and supporters who’ve helped us build over the past three decades,” says Ebonnie Rowe, founder and Executive Director of Honey Jam, who was recently announced as one of the 2025 appointees to the Order of Canada. “We can’t wait to see the iconic Massey Hall stage filled with the vibes, energy, and talent that define the Honey Jam concert experience.”

Since 1995, Honey Jam has been a launchpad for emerging women artists in Canada, providing invaluable resources to help with building skills, making connections and gaining exposure. It is not only a development program— offering mentorship, networking opportunities and impactful experiences like songwriting camps, workshops, and artist talks—but also a safe and supportive space for young creatives to build self-esteem and feel part of a sisterhood. Plenty of iconic Canadian artists have gone through the program, including Nelly Furtado, Jully Black, Haviah Mighty, and LU KALA.

The Honey Jam concert on July 30 will be hosted by Angeline Tetteh-Wayoe and recorded by CBC Radio for a future broadcast. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the artist development program.
