The Untold Collection – Where Fashion Meets Power

An exhibition reimagined, where a gallery transforms into a living runway – The Untold Collection is a survivor-founded fashion exhibition in association with What Were You Wearing? Survivor Art Gallery. This exhibit challenges the harmful myth that clothing equals consent. This night will shed light on survivors’ stories while also fundraising for Aurora House, a program supporting survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence. With the theme of the night being Art Gallery Couture, The Untold Collection invites you to become a part of the exhibit, to be bold, daring, and to make a statement. More info.

Her Sports Fest is Canada’s first and only multi-sport festival created to celebrate, promote, and support girls and women in sports. Mark of a Woman

Making its Canadian premiere at Theatre Passe Muraille, Mark of a Woman is a live performance project created and performed by Deaf performance artist Chisato Minamimura, celebrating and exploring the overlooked relationships between women and tattooing cultures. Using a combination of Visual Vernacular, ASL, digital animation, kinetic projection, and Woojer technology to reframe tattooing as both a personal and political act, Minamimura asks us if we can ever escape the marks others place upon us, and what it means to reclaim the power to mark ourselves.
