On Saturday, June 2nd, Bluebird Art Show will be holding its third annual exhibition to raise supplies for the Daily Bread Food Bank.

Every year, Bluebird brings celebrates the visual side of food. Eating is an experience that is influenced by all our senses, but Bluebird is especially interested in the interaction between food and art by seeing what we eat as an aesthetic expression. But we know the food will taste as good as it looks, because Food Dudes has come on board as a premier sponsor, and will be circulating with hors d’oeuvres and canapés.

Local artists will explore the theme of food as art in a variety of ways, using mediums from graffiti to sculpture to live performance. (FOOD FIGHT? …Probably not.) There will also be musical entertainment, and it’s all for a great cause. Bluebird hopes to raise 1500 lbs of food for the Daily Bread Food Bank. Admission to the party is two or more non-perishable food items.
