On Monday, December 6, join chef Michelle Marek for an interactive holiday dessert workshop at Depanneur le Pick Up. Marek is head pastry chef at Plateau restaurant Laloux, and founder of the scrumptious Montreal-based food blog An Endless Banquet.

The workshop, organized in part by Natasha from Popcorn Plays, will explore ways to incorporate candied fruits into winter holiday desserts. The event will include a presentation and execution of: Panforte with spices, chocolate & candied fruits; Stollen with marzipan + candied fruits; Crystallized fruits; Ginger cookies. Baking novices, fear not: Marek will be guiding you every step of the way.

Each participant will make his or her own dessert to take home. Workshop fee is $30; register early as Depanneur Pick-up can only accommodate 15 persons.  To register, email Natasha at natasha DOT pickowicz AT gmail DOT com.
