At our best, we are beer swilling biddies. Whether its on a patio, beach, or beside a bonfire, beer be delicious. That’s why we’re eager to celebrate Vancouver Craft Beer Week. From May 10th-16th, the beer-a-palooza, first of its kind in Canada, will be pouring, foaming, chugging and swigging the best of British Columbia Craft Beers into your pint glass. VCBW is taking over spots in the city to offer brewery tours, pizza pairings, and a cask beer brunch at The Whip care of Storm Brewing (you know, the guys you rented your keg from last year). Dirty Apron Cooking School teams up with Russel Brewing Company to teach you how to cook a three-course beer meal, and Hapa Izakaya and Driftwood Brewery are throwing caution to the wind and combining Japanese, Belgian and North American delights in 8 small plate courses combined with four beers. They’ve even got an official breakfast spot for you to nurse your hangover and ready yourself for the night ahead. There’s a lot more where that came from, and events are selling out fast. Round up your favourite drinking buddies and celebrate the brews!
