Now in its 22nd season, Dusk Dances Festival returns to Withrow Park with five original contemporary dance works by Canada’s leading choreographers.

Running from August 1 to 7, Dusk Dances features the stunning choreography of Apolonia Velasquez & Ofilio Sinbadinho, Myriam Allard, Susie Burpee, Michael Caldwell, and Milan Gervais. You won’t want to miss it!

Each performance of the week-long festival features four ten-minute pieces that move the audience throughout the park, plus a final twenty-five-minute work—on evenings only.

Each presentation is hosted by Allegra Charleston (Susie Burpee), and begins with a free outdoor Nia movement class with master teacher Martha Randall, accompanied live by musical act DoubleTooth.

Withrow Park is located South of Danforth between Logan and Carlaw (Chester Subway Station). To check out the full Withrow Park Dusk Dances Festival programme, click here. Dusk Dances is PWYC, with a suggested contribution of $10 per person.
