DOS is being touted as Canada’s biggest (“and baddest,” y’all) street art event, and I can see why. Presented by La Carnita (can I get a “YUM-YUM!”), DOS is an evening collaborating art, music, and food, and takes place on Friday, July 19.

Carrying the theme of two/duo/versus, various artists will face off against each other in cultural battles. That means, for example, La Carnita vs. Big Star (food), DJ Platurn vs. Grandtheft (music), and Sam Flores vs. Joseph Martinez (street art)—plus a whackload of others from around the globe.

It all happens from 7pm to 1am at Evergreen Brick Works (550 Bayview Ave.). Tickets go on sale this Saturday, June 1, and you’re going to want to buy one quick because they will sell out (last year’s inaugural event, UNO, saw over 3,000 guests show up even though only 1,500 were expected). Whoa!!!

Tacos and art? They’re what La Carnita built itself on, so you know this will be great.
