Pat Jordache Album Launch @ Discothèque Tropicale
Blue Skies Turn Black presents the launch of Montreal indie band Pat Jordache’s debut album, ‘Future Songs’. Canadian trio PLAY GUITAR and Mozart’s Sister will accompany the band – a great dance party to be sure.

Earth Day Evening @ OFF Interarts
To mark Earth Day 2011, OFF Interarts will host a bird, land and environment-themed evening. Local piano folk quintet Goose and performance artist Moheb Soliman will entertain, followed by a screening of The Ghost Bird, a documentary that investigates the disappearance of the ivory-billed woodpecker.

The Seventh Continent @ The Montreal Biodome
Celebrate Earth Day 2011 with a weekend of activities at Montreal’s Biodome, including a theatrical performance of The Seventh Continent – an investigation of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a floating mass of trash the size of France.

The Unsettlers @ Cabaret Mile End
One of our favourite Montreal acts, The Unsettlers will light up the stage at Cabaret Mile End with their usual bag of tricks, playing tracks from their recently released double album ‘Oil and Blood’. Joined by Mark Berube and the Patriotic Few, there really isn’t a better way to ring in Easter Sunday.

Bal en Blanc 17 @ Palais des Congrès
The highly anticipated 17th annual Bal en Blanc (White Ball) rave, which takes place every Easter Sunday (who works Monday? Not you!) is preparing to host an expected crowd of 16,000 eager partiers, along with international DJs Sander Van Doorn, Tiësto, Avicii and more.
