7pm. Euripides’ Hippolytos @ Sala Rossa, 4848 St-Laurent. This year’s annual McGill Classics Play is a new English version of Euripides’ Hippolytos. Directed by Carina de Klerk, translated by McGill Classics students, with original electronic music by Virek. DJ set to follow each performance by Jason oS (Modern Urban Jazz, Absys Records, Subtle Audio Recordings, Counter Intelligence Recordings) and Joey Mnemonic (Subtle Audio Recordings).

10pm. Jeudi On the Rocks @ Salon Officiel, 351 Roy Est. DJ Amyl Nitrate (aka Lorraine Carpenter) joins resident DJ Pat Dynamite and host Mikey B for another edition of Jeudi On the Rocks. No cover.

10pm. Friction + Vilify + Crimewave + Master Faders @ Le Belmont, 4483 St-Laurent. Didn’t get your fill of Vilify on Wednesday night? He joins UK drum and bass DJ Friction and Montreal’s own Crimewave and Master Faders for what’s sure to be a booty shakin’ throwdown at Le Belmont. $10 advance, more at the door.

8pm. The Asteroids Galaxy Tour @ Il Motore, 179 Jean Talon Ouest. Danish pop band The Asteroids Galaxy Tour brings their high energy performance to Il Motore, where they’ll play in support of their new album, “Out of Frequency,” released January 31, 2012. With openers Vacationer. Tickets $15.

9pm. Yamantaka // Sonic Titan + Uncle Bad Touch @ Jackie & Judy/ Rococo Bar Spectacle, 6512 Avenue du Parc. After a whiz-bang sell-out show in Toronto, MTL/TO’s Yamantaka // Sonic Titan join local acts Uncle Bad Touch, Bernardino Femminielli and CFCF at Jackie & Judy.
