The Gladstone Hotel is going green this week for Grow Op 2020!

The eighth edition of the annual environmental, landscape design, and contemporary art festival will transform the second floor of the Gladstone (1214 Queen St. W.) with over 20 immersive installations exploring themes of weather and climate through the lens of contemporary art. Participating artists have created works that touch on everything from the phenomena of the skies to the anxiety of climate change.

The exhibition will ask questions such as: How does weather affect our lives now? What changes will it bring in the future? And how do we respond to the beauty and spectacle of weather, as well as its force and power? Artists will also be in attendance to answer any questions you have about the installations.

Grow Op runs Thursday, March 12, through Sunday, March 15. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students (with ID).
