It’s time to celebrate, sammie lovers: Toronto’s first sandwich festival has arrived!

Head to Artscape Wychwood Barns (601 Christie St.) this Sunday, April 22, for Toronto Sandwich Fest, a one-day event bringing together vendors from across the city to showcase their delicious offerings between two buns.

There will be sandwich-themed activities throughout the day, including design and eating competitions, demonstrations by local chefs, and a silent auction featuring an array of luxury lifestyle and food-related prizes, along with live music, games, and drinks.

Toronto Sandwich Fest will be split into two sessions, with the first running 11-2 p.m. and the second running 3-6 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and include a “sandwich passport” that gets you sample portions of each vendor’s sandwiches and a chance to win one of the many prizes. Proceeds from the event will be split between the George Brown College Foundation and The Stop, a Toronto-based charity that strives to increase access to healthy food.
