Our March Artist of the Month directed the documentary ‘The Pink Pill: Sex, Drugs, and Who Has Control’, telling the story of Addyi (aka the female Viagra) and the decade-long fight to bring it to market. 💊🩷 The double standard is clear: while Viagra was fast-tracked for FDA approval, Addyi went through a years-long journey to approval, marked with gender bias at every turn. Just in time for #InternationalWomensDay, The Pink Pill opens up much-needed conversations about women’s sexual health, gender equality in healthcare, bodily autonomy, and female pleasure.
