The Roncesvalles strip has been under construction for what seems like forever, but its sidewalks are finally complete and looking pretty again – hurray! To celebrate, Roncesvalles Village will be hosting a sidewalk sale this Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm with merchants, bouncy castles, treats, musicians and entertainers taking over the sidewalk and street.

Also happening throughout the Roncesvalles and Brockton Villages are yard sales – like, lots of yard sales. The Roncesvalles Area Yard Sale (RAYS) features over 100 yard sales throughout the area while the Brockton Triangle (south of Dundas between Lansdowne and Brock, bordered by the railroad tracks) will be holding their 5th Annual Neighbourhood Yard Sale slightly eastward. Throughout the area, you’ll find yard and sidewalk sales, lemonade and coffee stands, bake sales, open houses, arts and crafts for sale, musicians and more

Please note: the weather is looking especially spring this weekend with showers expected every day so be sure to bring your umbrella, some trusty boots and a raincoat! Rain date for the Brockton Triangle yard sale is Sunday but, uh, it’s supposed to rain that day too so stay tuned to their website for updates. Let’s hope it’s not a wash-out!
