Shakespeare in High Park is definitely a reason that makes Toronto a magical place during summertime. The 2012 season will launch with A Midsummer Night’s Dream and opening night is officially June 28th; gates open at 6pm and show starts at 8pm.

I have never seen anything like Cavalia’s Odysseo, and I would definitely see it again. Playing in Toronto until June 10th, this show creates an acrobatic circus wonderland…with horses. Um, what? Amazing.

Remember that episode of Gilmore Girls with the dance marathon? Everyone dressed up in period dress, Rory got dumped, and  OH HOW THE TOWN DANCED! (Not because Rory got dumped. They danced to win a big trophy.) Ever since that episode, we’ve dreamed of our own dance marathon. And now, OUR DAY HAS ARRIVED!
