There’s going to be a whole slew of fun things going on Thursday January 21st at the Anza Club (W 8th Ave and Ontario Street) to help support the UBC Visual Art Grads have an epic exhibition this year. The theme for this years fundraiser is “The Big O” and is ‘O’pen to interpretation by each artist.

Here are six reasons to come out:

1. SILENT ART AUCTION . In these troubling times, invest in a nice piece of art. These kids are the next Jackson Pollocks!

2. LIVE BANDS!

PRE BOP ENSEMBLE
A group of VCC jazz kids who think they know something about
music.

BLOOD BLADES

They’re scary! (not really, but doesn’t it sound like it?)

3. DRINKS!! – Get extra messy – you can afford to now that your newly purchased artwork will classify you as a sophisticated intellectual.

4. Rumour has it Japadog will be there!

5. DANCERS? I don’t know what this means. Something about contortionists or something. You’ll have to come to find out!

6. You can write off everything you spend come tax time because you’re doing it for a great cause!

Tickets are $8.00, $5 if you bring student ID. SEE YOU THERE!
