4 pm Food & Van Gogh Vodka Tasting with Nadia G @ LCBO, 10 Scrivener Sq. Nadia G. of Bitchin’ Kitchen serves up Canada Day-inspired food recipes and Van Gogh Vodka cocktails, and shares her recipes and entertaining tips to throw a deliciously inspired Canada Day soiree. 6:30 pm Art Spin @ Trinity Bellwoods Park gates. The first Art Spin tour of the season! Meet at 6:30 pm at the gates of Bellwoods to get some bike repairs from Bike Pirates, participate in the love-lettering project, see some installations. Tour leaves at 7 pm and runs until roughly 9 pm where riders end up at a gallery space for a show and after party. This tour features musical performances, a sculpture/installation, gallery and studio visits, and dance performance!

7 pm Boreal Collective Slideshow Night @ OZ Studios, 134 Ossington Ave. A special slideshow presentation by Boreal Collective members Aaron Vincent Elkaim and Ian Willms of their latest photo essays followed by an open discussion about the presented works. This event is meant to bring together photographers, artists, and other creative minds to discuss the practice of documentary photography and to get to know each other.

7 pm “Pot Luck” Opening Reception @ Gallery 1313, 1313 Queen St. W. “A group exhibition of emerging textile artists from Sheridan College’s 2012 Crafts and Design, Textiles graduating class.
