This Thursday, the Laneway Project is hosting the city’s second annual laneways summit, bringing together laneway lovers, designers, planners and city-builders to discuss how together we can realize the potential of Toronto’s laneways.

Moderated by Denise Pinto of Jane’s Walk, Laneway Conessions features five interesting speakers who will share their experiences from present-day laneway transformations in Toronto and Montreal, covering initiatives from laneway street art and greening to micro-retail and housing.

This year’s speakers include Christine Bliss of the Kenwood Laneway Art Initiative, Roberto Garcia of Eco-quartier Rosemont-La Petite Patrie, Howard Tam of ThinkFresh Group, Jo Flatt of Evergreen and Al Smith and George Millbrandt of the St. Lawrence Market BIA. A cocktail reception will follow with a cash bar, food, and music from the Jay City Gritty Committee. Stick around after the discussion if you want to party in a church (we do)!

Laneway Confessions takes place Thursday, November 26th beginning at 6:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Trinity (10 Trinity Square, Toronto).
