Happy Election Day! Now, we know you’ve been told since the dawn of elementary school that it’s important to exercise your democratic right to vote, and we know that every person who ends up not making it to the polls has a rhyme or a reason, but here’s a better one: you live in a country where you are provided the rare luxury (we would call it a right, but unfortunately the whole world doesn’t see it that way) to have a say in the political process. Even if you don’t care, don’t know who to vote for, don’t want to bother, cast a vote for those who can’t. And if you want to make us REALLY happy, cast a strategic vote against Stephen Harper using this handy tool. But that’s just us, and it’s all about you, this is a democracy, after all. Head to Elections Canada to get all the info you need on how to make your voice count. Confused about what to bring to the polls if this is your first time voting? Here it is.

The last Federal Election set record lows for voter turnout, and we all know how that ended. Do us a favour and get ye to a ballot box. Trust us, you don’t want bloggers mad at you. We know things.
