Wednesday Season 2, Part 1

Freakier Friday
The follow-up to the iconic 2003 film sees the return of Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis as mixed-up mother-daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman. Picking up years after the story of Freaky Friday, Anna now has a daughter of her own—and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. Plan B

Americana
This modern-day western finds a dynamic cast of characters all clamouring for possession of a rare Native American artifact. Among those vying for the artifact are a shy waitress with big dreams (Sydney Sweeney), a lovelorn military veteran (Paul Walter Hauser), a ruthless criminal (Eric Dane), the leader of an Indigenous group (Zahn McClarnon) and a desperate woman fleeing her mysterious past (Halsey).

Sweet Angel Baby
Eliza is a beloved member of her small Newfoundland fishing community…until her secret social media persona is exposed, and the town discovers that she is in a relationship with a woman. Honey Don’t!
In Honey Don’t!, small-town private investigator Honey O’Donahue (Margaret Qualley) delves into a series of strange deaths connected to a mysterious church. Co-written by Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke—the team behind Drive Away Dolls— this dark comedy also stars Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans.

The Roses
An all-star cast appears in this reimagining of the classic 1989 film, The War of the Roses. Picture-perfect couple Ivy (Olivia Coleman) and Theo (Benedict Cumberbatch) seem to have it all. But when Theo’s career nosedives as Ivy’s takes off, a storm of underlying resentment and fierce competition comes to a head.
