Santropol Roulant is one of Montreal’s most beloved non-profit organizations: their kitchen and garden run by youth volunteers fuels a Meals on Wheels program that helps seniors, the disabled and the chronically ill. Volunteers keep Santropol Roulant moving, but there are still a lot of expenses for the organization’s Meals on Wheels program. Here’s how you can help: attend a fabulous party. Sounds almost too good to be true, doesn’t it?

Every year in December, Santropol organizes a fundraising soiree, and this year, guests will be treated to a Winter Masquerade ball, with live music, performers, and the magic of a wintry Nordic landscape. And, perhaps most importantly, dinner will include a spread of mouth-watering dishes donated by some of Montreal’s finest restaurants.

The Winter Masquerade will be held at the Just for Laughs Museum (2111 St-Laurent, 5th floor) . Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $100, $65, $45, and $30. $30 tickets only cover the costs of the evening, while higher-priced tickets help to raise much-needed funds to keep the Meals on Wheels program going. You can buy tickets online on the Santropol Roulant website.
