What does a typical Thursday look like for you, starting from when you wake up – to heading to bed?

I wake up to my puppy, Miss Kylie Minogue, and a yummy smoothie. Next I check my inbox and attempt to answer all my emails. Right now my inbox is filled with press releases from petite designers, pictures of petite models and everyone who is involved in Petite Fashionista Presents (www.PetiteFashionistaPresents.com) on June 22nd. Then I write up the post for that day, on Thursdays I like to focus on adapting current trends to best flatter petite women. Next, I check out what’s new in other fashion media, and go to a few coffee date meetings. Then I finish the day off with dinner with my sexy beau and yoga at Fireflow.

What was your first job out of school?

I did some volunteer work in Mali, West Africa. Then I came back and produced a series of three events called "Fashion on the Rocks" which combined shopping, drinking and dancing.

What are the 3 skills you require most to do your job well?

A "why not" attitude, charm & the ability to multi task.

What do you love most about your career?

I love that shopping and people watching is how I stay up on the latest trends.

Do you have any warnings?

Don’t blog for the money, blog about what you love and if enough people love what you love the money will come over time with the growth of your readership. Never accept money from a product or service that you or your readers wouldn’t be interested in.

If you could try a different career on for a year, what would it be?

Fashion Designer, for petites of course.
