What does a typical Thursday look like for you, starting from when you wake up – to heading to bed?

Drive my 3 boys to school
Workout
Work on WhereDidYouGetThat.ca website…customer order fulfillment, updating site with current merchandise…
Pick up my youngest son from hockey school
Help my children with homework if they need it, eat dinner as a family when possible, watch one of my boys play their hockey games, get boys to bed and if I’m lucky, catch Grey’s Anatomy 

What was your first job out of school?

Retail Buyer for Beaver Canoe.  

What are the 3 skills you require most to do your job well?

A good eye, a gut feel and passion for what we do. 

What do you love most about your career?

I love spending so much time with my partner who is one of my closest friends, and doing what we love…treasure hunting for new products. 

Do you have any warnings?

New businesses require patience, which is sometimes difficult to endure in an impatient world. 

If you could try a different career on for a year, what would it be?

I love kids so I would probably be a pediatrician so that I could watch them develop and mature.
