- find your passion and find a way to make money from it – Live out loud!
- don’t be afraid to share your ideas with others, you cannot do everything yourself
- always make time for yourself, make sure you always look your best
- don’t apologize for being late unless the event is time sensitve
- be the change you want to see in the world
1. What does a typical Thursday look like for you, starting from when you wake up – to heading to bed?
I wake up and take my puppy to the park. This is followed by a super delicious yogurt parfait and scurrying around to get ready. I call my friends who are working, check my email, do a brunch, browse some shops, blog a bit, upload some photos and then oh yah work!
2. What was your first job out of school?
I worked for Stila, running a pink Toronto street team for the watermelon gloss launch!
3. What are the 3 skills you require most to do your job well?
Being creative, remembering people’s names and being observant!
4. What do you love most about your career?
I love the freedom and challenges – I feel only when you are pursuing your dreams do you realize your full potential and the depth of your creative mind.
5. Do you have any warnings?
If you are lazy or too proud to ask for help, you will always be told what to do and you can’t complain.
6. If you could try a different career on for a year, what would it be?
I would love to work for Cool Hunter or be a global trend collector for a little shop of chic.
