Saturday December 9th, transport your kids back in time as Fort York (250 Fort York Blvd.) celebrates the legacy of the Frost Fair in nineteenth-century England with a market, music and food!

Tour the Fort’s buildings and enjoy tasty treats in the warmth of the historic kitchen. Pop-up performances and activities will animate the grounds while the Heritage Café offers up food and drink with a historic twist.

Your kids will love the all-ages holiday craft making while you sit back and enjoy your favourite short films from the holiday season. Snap up some holiday treats (mince tarts anyone?), and join Mars Heritage Chocolate as they demonstrate the chocolate-making process (and nab a sample for yourself).

Purchase unique gifts (with a historical twist) from Sutler Cyrus, Sanderson’s Leather, Linda’s Early Fashions, It’s Thyme, Toronto’s First Post Office, The Art of Pudding, and Culinary Historians of Canada. There’ll be 19th Century Cooking Demonstrations, a hands-on greenery workshop, fiddle dancers, and so much more!
