Yet another great music festival takes over the city for eleven days of electronic, groove and funk music with well-known and rising Canadian and European artists: the Montreal Electronic Groove. This is a perfect opportunity to wipe your wardrobe slate clean – one of the city’s biggest clothing swaps will take place this weekend at Place des arts! Tickets are $10 and rules about the types of clothes you can swap are very specific – all guidelines are available here. To participate in the swap, you must donate items.

8pm. The XX @ Metropolis, 59 St-Catherine East. British Indie pop band The XX lands back in Montreal, accompanied by Montreal’s own Jacques Greene. The XX’s second album ‘Coexist’ is set to drop this September! Tickets start at $34.
