Purple cake, purple balloons, purple fashion, purple flowers: The Drake Hotel was decked out in purple everything for the annual Purple Party that raises proceeds for Childhood Cancer Canada.

Co-chaired by the star of CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries, Yannick Bisson and his wife Shantelle, along with Stanley Cup Champion Brad May with wife Brigette, the event hosted guests from all sectors, bringing together Bay Street bankers with professionals in the arts and sports industry.

Childhood Cancer Canada was founded in 1987 by a mother who lost her 17 year-old son to leukemia. Today, it is Canada’s leading foundation dedicated to funding national research while delivering critical education, community and programs for children and families living with cancer. This year, the Purple Party was proud to exceed their goal and raise $120,000.

It was a fabulous evening full of spirit, positivity and hope.
