Chloe Wilde is a TV personality on E! Canada, runner, eternal dreamer and fashion addict. She’s also up for a Notable award. And she finds bras overrated.

SDTC: What are your favourite haunts in Toronto?

Monday to Friday I bunker down at work in the entertainment district, but on the weekend I love exploring this city and getting to know it better. My ideal Saturday is an over-sized cup of coffee (some of my favorite spots are Dark Horse, Little Nicky’s, Maman) followed by perusing St. Lawrence Market for scrumptious food and great chats with the vendors. Otherwise you can find me walking my dog Echo along the waterfront, channeling my inner yogi at yoga or indulging in all the hot sauce wonders at Wilbur.

What aisle do you spend the most time in at the grocery store?

Whatever aisle the popcorn is in. It isn’t fried, therefore it fits in my #healthyishot lifestyle – or so I like to tell myself.

Which virtue do you try to cultivate within yourself?

Be somebody who makes everyone feel like a somebody.

The receipts in your wallet would indicate what?

…that I am addicted to coconut water, that I should probably take transit more often and give my bank account a break from all the Uber rides, and that I wear fake lashes (it’s not uncommon to find a pair wedged between receipts after a long day of shooting).

What did you want to be when you were 8 years old?

My mother always tells the story of when she asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, when I was in grade 3. At that time I had a wicked science teacher who let me carry tadpoles in a fishbowl around class like a gold medal – the little tadpoles were my pet children – so naturally I told my mom I wanted to be a pediatric anesthesiologist. She’s quick to remind me that I butchered the pronunciation, but that it was also one of my cutest moments. Man, I was a weird kid.

If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?

In a gorgeous beach house in Malibu, California, like Kristin Cavallari in The Hills.

What makes you happy?

An 8-hour sleep, cheesy romantic comedies (Knocked Up, Wedding Crashers, Love Actually), fireworks, getting smothered with love by my dog, coffee with my other half on a lazy morning, great hair days, and that athleisure is a thing now (hello comfort!).

What makes you cringe?

Loud chewers, people who don’t pick up their dog’s poop, bad audio systems, waking up so early you’re convinced it’s still nighttime, that weird new car smell, well-done steak, and when my socks don’t match.

What quality do you loathe most in others?

When I see people put other people down to make themselves feel better.

What, in your opinion, is overrated?

Bras.

What is the one thing you wish you could change about yourself?

I have a Type A personality through and through and somedays I wish I could be a hybrid of Type A and Type B – a perfect mesh of organized and proactive with an easy breezy, no fuss attitude.
