A magical evening was had by all at Mad Hot Ballet! Earlier this week, the National Ballet of Canada hosted its annual fundraising event, bringing together dance lovers, cultural connoisseurs and trendsetters for an evening full of creativity, style, and dazzling performances. 

Heated Rivalry star Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova and Olympic medalists Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier were among the evening’s notable guests. 

Since the inaugural Mad Hot Ballet gala in 2007, NBOC has raised more than $17 million in support of the company’s community engagement programmes, which include reduced ticket prices for students, relaxed performances, and dance programs for elementary school students. 

This year’s theme, Reverie, described as “a voyage suspended between reality and imagination,” inspired looks full of whimsy and creativity.  Here are some of our favourite photos from the evening!
