Hold on to your livers kids, cause it’s that time of year again…Canadian Music Week!

A whole week of “ I saw them when they played the ‘shoe” bragging rights and full on party your ass off fun. For you first timers it works like this. Get a wristband for $35 and check out the schedules at the web site. Be forewarned though, club capacities can fill up quickly, so for shows with big “buzz” go early or you’ll be stuck waiting in line. Bands start about every half hour right on the hour so lining up a bunch of shows that are in walking distance is a great way to get bang for your buck.

So for those brave music fans out there it’s time to saddle up! Snowstorms be damned! Round 1 begins tonight with an evening of Metal for yours truly at The Reverb. Then a hop, skip and a jump down to Tattoo Rock Parlour and nothing says fun like pints and shooters till 4 am at The Bovine Sex Club! Stay tuned for more delicious details of my adventures at CMW 2008… www.cmw.net
