Expensive phone cases are for Dummies. Plain phone cases are for Borings. What’s a Smart Cool to do? Make your own phone case, duh no duh. Here’s how!

Supplies:

  • hard plastic phone case (it doesn’t matter if it has a design on it or not, you’ll be covering it up!) – $2 at dollarama
  • jewels! this is where the cost comes in, if you want to get CRAZY then it might be a bit more expensive for the jewels, I got a HUGE heart shaped bead for $2 and a pack of smaller ones for $2. I also got some shiny rhinestones that are self adhesive from dollarama for $2 and there are a MILLION jewels!
  • glue gun (super glue will not work)

Steps:

  1. if you’re using self adhesive rhinestones apply all of those FIRST, you’ll be able to add some jewels on top
  2. using your glue gun put your extra jewels on top of the rhinestones making sure to use enough glue for the really large beads/jewels.
  3. let it cool down for a few minutes and then remove any extra glue pieces
  4. put it on your phone!

Another alternative is to take a bunch of stickers and go WILD, like this:

The world is your tacky, unnecessarily ornate oyster! GO FORTH AND SHINE, FRIENDS!
