Kids belong in the kitchen! This week, the Royal Winter Fair continues with The Royal Culinary Academy; a unique series that combines fun, hands-on cooking classes led by top chefs using local ingredients.

At these sessions, your kids (ages 9 and up) will learn how to cook a restaurant quality dish with their fave chef or cook book author, then sit down and enjoy the dish that they’ve created. Bonus: They don’t have to wash any dishes! Chefs in this years lineup include Michael Bonacini, co-founder of Oliver & Bonacini, Alida Solomon of Tutti Matti, Anthony Rose of Rose & Sons, Carl Heinrich of Richmind Station, Camille Moore of CamiCooks, Cory Vitiello of Flock Rotisserie & Greens and Simon Renaud of The Hilton in Quebec. Even Amber Marshall, star of CBC’s long-running hit, Heartland will be leading a cooking session!

Admission to the fair is $27 ($16 for kids) plus tickets to The Royal Culinary Academy go for $20. Classes are geared toward any skill level; it makes for a ton of (delicious) fun! Find schedule and grab your ticket here. The Royal Culinary Academy runs through Nov. 10th.
