The annual Rethink Breast Cancer Romp is fast approaching and this year’s event is sure to be a swanky affair—taking partygoers back to the roaring twenties while raising awareness of breast cancer among young women.

‘Prohibition: Glam Goes Underground’ will be happening on Thursday, June 11th at the Burroughs Building on Queen St. W. and will be the bee’s knees. Ladies will get dolled up with makeup from Joe Fresh Beauty and hair stylings at the Coupe Bizzarre pop-up salon before striking a pose with their guy in the Gibson photo booth, all while grooving to the music of Peter Elkas, sampling finger foods, and enjoying the assortment of giggle waters from Yellow Tail, Corona, vitaminwater and Naked Juice. As if that isn’t enough, the end of the night (whenever that may be) will send guests off with glorious goody bags—and who doesn’t love some free swag?

When: Thursday, June 11th, 2009—7:30 p.m. to late
Where: Burroughes Building, 639 Queen Street West (secret password: boobies)
What to wear: Guys dress in fedoras and spats; girls dress in Flapper gear
Who: Rethink Breast Cancer, a charity dedicated to helping young individuals concerned about and affected by breast cancer through education, research and support programs.
