As we’ve come to expect, Aritzia has about 900 different spring jackets to choose from, but we like the timeless quality of this classic trench coat. Perfect for heading back to the office, weekend brunch dates, or city sleuthing. Lined with interior pockets and a removable belt, this trench is fun to style, and an addition to your wardrobe that will never go out of style. More details here.

Kurt Lyle Diega Jacket in Olive – $315 (On sale for $180)

We love a good deal, and we found it in this Kurt Lyle Diega Jacket, currently on sale at Toronto’s beloved Ease boutique, which is committed to slow fashion.

Inspired from traditional sportswear the Diega jacket is a full length nylon shell featuring long sleeves with a round neck and a zip in hood. Not sure if it’s the model or the jacket, but we’re definitely feeling a take-no-shit vibe with this one. Love the length, and the fact that putting this on over anything is a fashion statement. Hilary Radley Chocolate Car Coat –  $100 

Another way to find a less expensive spring jacket is to head out on a vintage crawl. The thrill of the hunt is satisfying in and of itself, but especially rewarding when you find a gem like this 1990s Hilary Radley car coat.

The Chocolate Car Coat with a wool lining is currently for sale at Penny Arcade. Raglan sleeves, trapeze shape, angled pockets, cuff sleeves are a few of its redeeming features. If you’re a size 14, move fast.

Soia & Kyo Kya Water-Repellent Trench – $445

The Soia & Kyo Kya is a classic trench with a modern twist! This gorgeous blazer will not keep you dry, but it is the kind of jacket you will live in.

Made in Montreal by designer Valerie Dumaine, the Niman Jacket has been made using reclaimed fabrics as a raw material resource, diverting it from landfill and incineration. Comprising of 75% Wool / 25% Polyamide, this is an outer layer that will keep you warm on chillier days in spring and fall, and the perfect jacket for summer nights when the temperature dips.
