Luxury ingredients? Local produce? Vegan options? This ain’t your construction worker’s food truck. Shontelle Pinch and Bianka Matchett have teamed up to create a gourmet—and healthy—alternative to the standard greasy chip truck, and are inviting Toronto’s foodies to be the first to sample the mobile menu.  Inspired by the pair’s love of entertaining and travel, the internationally-inflected dishes will feature Mexican, Cuban and Balinese influences, while also offering some dairy- and gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions or something against lactose.

You can take the menu for a test drive in an exclusive tasting preview at 7pm, on April 2 at the Boiler House. The duo’s deliciously bitchy twitter account (@gourmetb1tches) also promises an unveiling of the brand spanking new truck. Catch it now before those wheels start spinning and you’re chasing your lunch around the GTA.
