THURSDAY

Growing up as a Jewish kid you were pretty much out of the loop if you didn’t go to summer camp. Camp was where we had our first kisses, learned to use tampons, threw people in lakes, raided cabins, crushed on counselors, flashed our boobies to boys, built life long friendships, and acquired some of the happiest memories we have. Whether you went, or wish you had, experience Home Away From Home – an exhibit @ The Jewish Museum & Archives of British Columbia that explores such lasting impressions and features an array of photographs, artifacts and interactive displays.
