Disclosure

August 2 at TD Echo Beach (909 Lakeshore Blvd. W.)

Disclosure burst onto the North American music scene in summer 2014 with “Latch,” a ridiculously catchy track featuring Sam Smith on vocals. You can expect to hear that and plenty of other bangers from the British electronic duo when they hit the stage at Echo Beach as part of their tour for their sophomore album Caracal, which was released last year.

Both are known for their elaborate, high-energy shows, and with 12 albums between them, they’ll have plenty of material to choose from.

The Go-Gos

August 16 at Massey Hall (178 Victoria St.)

36 years after releasing their smash hit single “We Got The Beat,” The Go-Gos are saying goodbye – but not before embarking on one last blast of a summer tour. They had initially planned to do a farewell tour in 2010, but had to postpone it after guitarist Jane Wiedlin injured her knee. The tour will feature four of the five original members (minus bassist Kathy Valentine, who left the group in 2013) along with openers Best Coast and Kaya Stewart.
